Second International School on Research Impact Assessment, Banff, Alberta, Canada, September 7-11, 2014

The second ISRIA was held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, in September 2014. Attendance at the second School more than doubled to 95 participants and included representatives from North America, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Faculty, facilitators and ISRIA 2013 alumni from organizations and institutions active in RIA (e.g., RAND Europe, Science Metrix, Kings College London, Brunel University and others) took part in the unique training opportunity. As a result, we expanded our Community of Practice and were successful in offering a rewarding learning experience where new knowledge, skills and ideas about RIA practice and theory were exchanged.
